About the Authors

Sherri Magee is an independent oncology researcher who has designed personal cancer recovery programs for over 15 years and has trained health care professionals to work with survivors. She chaired the International Cancer Rehabilitation Conference several times and is co-founder of the Abreast in a Boat dragon boat society and past Executive Director of the Hope House Cancer Centre.

Kathy Scalzo is a consultant specializing in change and transition management who has worked with more than 200 health care organizations, professional associations and non-profit agencies. She has been a core faculty member of the Canadian Medical Association’s Physician Management Institute and is currently a regular guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia.
