Our Featured Illustrator is David Catrow, the illustrator of Don’t Take Your Snake for a Stroll.

David Catrow is an award-winning political cartoonist and illustrator of many books for children, including Plantzilla by Jerdine Nolen and The Emperor’s Old Clothes by Kathryn Lasky. Several of his books have been named New York Times Book Review Best Illustrated Books of the Year and were finalists for the Book Sense Book of the Year Award. David lives in Springfield, Ohio, and often can be found in the company of the family dog, Bubbs, who occasionally makes guest appearances in his owner’s illustrations.
