Art of Cars 2 Giveaway

Hi there,

As a publicist I sometimes get movie passes for give-away. This time I worked with Disney for a cross promo with Cars 2 and a book from Chronicle Books, Art of Cars 2. Disney was nice enough to send me a few.

So, I have one here (admits 2) for the Vancouver premier on Wednesday June 22, 2011, 7PM at The Scotiabank Theatre on Burrard st.

I also have a book here that I will throw in as well!!

One Million Copies of Ivy & Bean Sold!

It doesn't seem like too long ago that I read the first book in the Ivy and Bean series and ran around the office raving to anyone that would listen about how fantastic it was.

Ivy and Bean took me right back to being an 8 year old girl who loved reading and would hole herself up in her room for hours reading Ramona books.

I remember telling all the women that I know that if they loved Ramona books as a kid that they had to go out and pick up Ivy and Bean immediately to share with any young women in their life.

Apparently I am not the only one that loves Ivy and Bean  because... Chronicle Books has just announced that Ivy and Bean has sold 1 Million Copies!

Ivy and Bean author Annie Barrows did this special video to thank everyone who helped her meet this incredible milestone!

Have You Met Noonie?

Have you been introduced to Noonie yet? If not you are in for a great treat! Noonie is the main character of Chronicle Books new kids' fiction title Noonie's Masterpiece. A 10-year-old aspiring artist stuck living with an aunt, uncle, and cousin who clearly don't recognize her genius.

Here... get to know her!

One of my favourite things about Noonie's Masterpiece is that all of those amazing illustrations that you just saw in the trailer video are in the book! Yep that's right it is filled througout with gorgeous colour illustrations!
