HARRY POTTER Weekend Sweepstakes

Contest Summary:
On the stroke of midnight on Saturday, July 16th, J. K. Rowling will read from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in the Great Hall at Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. You could win a trip to attend this exclusive event and have a chance to interview J. K. Rowling about the new book.

Seventy aspiring cub “reporters” aged 8 to 16, from Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand, will attend the reading and receive a signed copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The cub reporters will then have the weekend to read the book in a specially created Reading Room at Edinburgh Castle before attending the Children’s Press Conference on Sunday July 17th to question J. K. Rowling about the new book.

Who is eligible:
Canadians aged 8 to 16 are eligible to win a trip for two (for the winner and his/her parent or guardian) to attend the launch weekend events at Edinburgh Castle. Entrant must obtain the consent of his or her parent/legal guardian in order to enter the Contest.
