Sticker Design Contest

Art & Photography + Contests / July 08, 2010
Remember collecting stickers for your stickerbook? I remember having a few prized stickers in my collection. I think my favourites were a fuzzy giraffe and a puffy Care Bear sticker with sparkles on it...
Well, stickers have got way cooler since I was a kid. Waaaay cooler.
Laurence King has already published two books about today's stickers, which are essential part of the street art movement: Stickerbomb and Stickerbomb 2 collect an awesome array of stickers (that you can actually peel out of the book and use) created by artists, illustrators and graffiti writers from around the world.
Now Laurence King wants to include YOU in that list.
Want to see your very own designs in fully peelable and stickable form? Then look no further than our sticker design contest!
Just as the brilliant people at Studio Rarekwai have collected more than 500 specially commissioned stickers in their books Stickerbomb and Stickerbomb 2 we want you to send us your designs for a new piece of sticky street art.
The winner (judged by Ryo Sanada, one of the Stickerbomb authors) will not only receive a copy of both Stickerbomb and Stickerbomb 2, but also a set of 100 stickers based on their design.
Read all the details on how to enter on LaurenceKing.com. Entries are due by August 2, 2010.
